We celebrate many holidays for many different reasons but do we celebrate ourselves like the Creator intended for us to? The way we honor ourselves is to take care of ourselves. And it is giving time and attention to our Body, Mind and Spirit. Most of us are good at one or the other but not all 3.And to be well balanced we need to give each of those attention. The Body is easy to know what it needs....healthy wholesome food and some form of fitness. And there is no limits on what is included in fitness...you just got to move! Your diet cannot consist of eating from a box or pre-made meals. The Mind can be a little harder for us. Who can quit stressing long enough? Quieting the mind can be difficult for a lot of folks. That is where Qi Gong comes in. It is great for quieting the mind and also will create a stronger body. Learning to sit quietly for 5 -20 min a day will do wonders for your well-being. And then we have our Spirit...how do we nurture that. First understanding that you are connected to the ONE TRUE SOURCE. We are an extension of God. So treat your self as the beautiful God-Being that you are. Feeding your spirit is about what and who you surround your self with on a daily basis. What positive things are you putting into your heart and mind?
Being healthy is not just about physical health...it is about treating every aspect of your being like the temple God created! Suggestions would be eating foods that have healing aspects and that create an immune system army that can battle anything Giving back to your body that works so hard for you everyday by getting massage therapy or other bodywork....or maybe just a calgone bath will do.Staying fit through some activity that you love...mine would be hiking and Qi Gong. Learning to quiet your mind through meditation, Qi Gong, Breath-work, or simply just being. And find a place or surroundings that feed and nurture your spirit and if you don't have that then change it!
I am always available for questions and any help I can provide in these areas. Don't hesitate to call to learn more. Namasta
